With your Blaauw gas fired pottery kiln you will see results in a blink of an eye, allowing you to open the kiln just 10–16 hours after pressing 'start.' This means, a Blaauw kiln can handle the workload of three standard electric kilns or two conventional gas kilns.

A typical 1280°C firing in a Blaauw gas fired pottery kiln (325 litres) consumes approximately $15 worth of LPG, half what an average gas kiln will use.

Freedom of programming

The CU14 kiln controller gives you complete flexibility to design your firing program. With up to 25 customizable steps, you can set time, temperature, speed, and atmosphere (oxidation or reduction) to suit your needs. Opt for a simple program and let the controller’s built-in intelligence handle the details, or create more advanced sequences, including drying stages or cooling valve activation. Multi zone control

The CU14 kiln controller offers the capability to control a kiln in different sections. This can be useful if you have a big kiln and need to have a small temperature variation throughout the kiln. With our multi zone control, the kiln is ‘divided’ into separate sections which are separately controlled in temperature. In this way, even large kilns can be precisely controlled.

Remote control

Are you curious how your firing is progressing, or do you want to make that last adjustment to your program when you are not near your kiln? With our remote-control software, you can check your kiln controller over the internet and adjust if necessary. At the same time, our software logs all your firings. This allows you to analyse and print your firings.
