Firing Service:
To keep the costs down & speed up the service:
- Complete the firing services form
- Bases of glazed ware must be clean
- Ware must be bone dry & contain only clay
- Clays like BRT & glaze tests must be on a setter
- All ware to be marked with your makers ID
- Lids are fired on pots, unless we are told otherwise
- Kiln or shelf damaged may incur a repair fee
- We cannot store your boxes or packing equipment
* Additional fees may apply for:
- Numerous miniatures, odd shapes, & extra-large pieces.
- Urgent Firings.
* We can refuse to fire ware at our discretion.
*An after-hours drop-off & collection box is available for use at own risk.
Booking an entire Kiln:
Peace of Mind:
When you have deadlines or a lot of ware, sometimes its preferable to book out an entire kiln. That way you have control over when the firing is done and you don't have to share with other customers creations.
How it works:
Contact our team to book the sized kiln you want and the date you would like the firing to begin.
- Once booked, payment is required in advance to secure the kiln.
- Ware must be with us prior to 12 midday on the day of booking, to ensure enough time to load and commence firing.
- Late arrival of ware or 'no-shows' will result in no guarantee of kiln availability or ability to meet deadlines.
- If you want to pack your own kiln, or be part of the packing process, just let us know.
