- Using bulk importation when local sourcing not possible, to reduce the impact footprint of individual items.
- Supporting suppliers who demonstrate responsible environmental practices.
Responsible Chemical Management:
- Promoting the safe storage, handling and disposal of ceramic materials, glazes, refractory products and associated chemicals.
- Providing guidance and product information to assist customers in using products safely and responsibly.
Reducing Our Environmental Footprint:
We aim to:
- Build systems that minimise paper usage through digital documentation where practical.
- Reduce unnecessary packaging through design improvements.
- Reduce unnecessary freight through building a network of local distributors.
- Recycle cardboard, paper, plastics, electronics and other materials whenever facilities are available.
- Improve operational efficiency to reduce waste and emissions.
